a few days each month chicago has free days for museums so we decided to take advantage. we had the boys drop us off on their way to work, but not before we introduced them to the french market for lunch and gelato...
first stop: the field museum.
turns out it was the hottest day in chicago i've experienced. 95 with 80%+ humidity is a million times worse than 115 in arizona. no question.
but we walked the mile from the field museum and made our way to the art museum (drenched in sweat might i add)
definitely loved seeing so many famous paintings in person! truly incredible.
