Takin it like a champ.

Well, Cody had his hernia surgery yesterday...all went well with the hernia but the doctors made him stay in the hospital overnight because of some heart problems. Cody was already aware of an irregular heartbeat he's always had but the doctors seemed pretty concerned and wanted him to keep a heart monitor on and have a cardiologist to see him before he went home. So this morning they did an echo on his heart but they also noticed that he had dropped to like 30 beats per minute at one time (normal is like 60-100bpm) and he was having PVC's (premature ventricular contractions). It could possibly be caused by the leftover anesthesia in his system but hopefully its nothing more than that. He spoke with the cardiologist and his surgeon and he got the ok to go home today but I guess we are just awaiting results from the echo and blood tests...for now we are just glad to be out of the hospital!
